Every year Universal Studios Singapore celebrates the All Hallows‘ Eve, or All Saints‘ Eve, popularly known as Halloween. The entire studio is transformed into the scariest, spookiest and probably the eeriest place in Singapore. For the seventh year running, Universal Studios Singapore’s (USS) Halloween Horror Nights is back to terrify thrill-seekers all over once again, with the darkest and most twisted horrors!
This year the Halloween Horror Nights 7 is scheduled to run for 14 nights from September 29, 2017 to October 28, 2017. The event is themed after the seven incarnations of sins present in modern day life: Cruelty, Deception, Malice, Manipulation, Narcissism, Perversion and Obsession. These sins are embodied in seven iconic characters called the Sinisters. Spanned across 5 terrifying haunted houses, 2 frightening scare zones and 2 killer live shows this Halloween event promises many screams, thrills, panic, horror and terrors.
Thrilling rides such as Battlestar Galactica: HUMAN vs CYLON™, TRANSFORMERS The Ride: The Ultimate 3D Battle, Revenge of the Mummy, Accelerator®, and Enchanted Airways will also be available during the HHN7. It is better to visit the event before everyone gets in the Halloween mood as you will be able to enjoy the horror nights leisurely and will not have to endure long wait lines.
What can you expect?
The Haunted Houses
There are 5 haunted houses offering maze-like experiences, thrills at every step and something dreadful at every turn: Death Mall, Inside The Mind, Hex, Make The Cut and Terrorcotta.
In addition to the haunted houses, there are two terrifying scare zones – Pilgrimage of Sin and Happy Horror Days – designed as transitioning outdoor areas in between attractions.
This year, USS Halloween Horror Nights once again hosts two exciting shows – Laboratorium and Slice of Life Tour – where you’ll witness death defying stunts by international acts and the album launch performance by pop trio Slit Face Girls.

- You can take pictures with the scare actors in the scare zones
- Singapore climate can be very unpredictable so also carry an umbrella
- You have to keep walking in the haunted houses, don’t stop mid-way to delay the lines
- The most important thing to remember is that the actors in the haunted houses are not supposed to touch you, just as you are not supposed to touch them either
